Hi, I'm Darlene Louise
This is my work and I'm honored you're here.
I took a pottery course in high school and a few years ago after having my second child, I decided to try it again as a way to become reacquainted with myself postpartum.
It was instant love: a creative outlet, something just for me, and an opportunity to hit the reset button so I can be the best parent possible for my kids.

In September of 2024, I decided to sell some of my wares to friends in order to raise funds for several mutual aid organizations in Gaza.
I was later approached by an organizer to participate in a much bigger fundraiser, "The People Stand With Gaza" benefiting Middle East Children's Alliance in November 2024.
It felt as though I had found my calling. I am deeply passionate about ceramics and even more so about social justice. I continue to donate 15% of every sale to mutual aids as my way of "doing something" when the world feels so big and it can be hard to feel like we can individually affect change. I hope you are able to find your thing if you haven't already.
